Emilee Evans is an Associate Attorney at Northern Michigan Elder Law, PLC (NMEL). A proud Boyne City Rambler, Emilee earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from James Madison College at Michigan State University. She later returned to East Lansing to attend Michigan State University College of Law (formerly the Detroit College of Law).
During law school, Emilee distinguished herself as a finalist in her class’s best brief competition, became certified as a General Civil Mediator, and began interning with NMEL. She also served as a student attorney in both the Animal Welfare Clinic and the Chance at Childhood Clinic, and was the Community Service Coordinator for the Women’s Law Caucus. Throughout law school, Emilee maintained strong ties to Northern Michigan, returning seasonally to work and continue her internship with NMEL.
After being admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in May 2022, Emilee joined NMEL full-time. Her practice focuses on Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Administration, Medicaid Planning, and Conservatorship and Guardianship matters.
Outside of her legal work, Emilee enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dogs. She is an avid runner, skier, and reader, and loves exploring the outdoors — including ice climbing and other Northern Michigan adventures.
